The scope also includes testing and reporting on existing fire alarm voice intelligibility and volume, removing and replacing up to 1,400 existing doors, relocating existing door controls to new and existing IDF rooms, fire alarm design and sprinkler design in the tunnel system.
KAI is also providing electrical engineering for the new 70,642 SF Welcome Plaza on the west side of the airport, a large multipurpose space beneath a dappled green glass canopy that can be utilized for special events and press conferences and will have kiosks, displays and informative exhibits.
