  • Share

KAI Build is proud to welcome back Marisol Ramos as Project Manager at its St. Louis headquarters. Ramos was previously an Assistant Project Manager for KAI 360 Construction Services in 2021 before transferring to the Build group until 2024.

Ramos is a talented Project Manager with more than nine years of experience in the construction industry. She has expertise in all phases of construction management, including value engineering, planning and scheduling, forecasting and budgeting. As a Project Manager, she supervises and coordinates all contractor performance reviews and submits change orders; reviews all submittals, invoices and RFPs; performs inspections at the job site; and provides field supervision.

“We are thrilled to welcome Marisol back to KAI Build,” said Gyasi Haynes, vice president of KAI Build. “She has an outstanding track record of leadership, collaboration and delivering results that truly transform communities. Her passion for building strong relationships and creating opportunities makes her not only an asset to our projects but also to our culture. We are excited to see the continued impact she will make for our clients and the communities we serve.”

Ramos brings valuable experience, leadership and dedication to KAI Build’s mission to transform communities through construction excellence. She is currently assigned to several KAI projects that are bettering St. Louis neighborhoods, including the elevator addition for the Mount Grace Convent of the Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters, who are affectionately known as the “Pink Sisters,” and several BJC HealthCare projects.

Ramos says her career path has always been guided by a passion for building not just structures, but relationships and opportunities.

“I’ve been drawn to construction because of its tangible impact on communities, and that’s what continues to inspire me,” she said. “What truly sets KAI apart is the people, the team makes it feel like home. It’s a place where I can grow, contribute to something bigger and work alongside others who care deeply about community and collaboration.”

Ramos is looking forward to Transforming Communities through participation in a KAI initiative that introduces high school students to diverse and rewarding career paths in construction, and by helping clients bring their visions to life by turning their ideas into tangible spaces that serve and uplift communities.

“Our clients aren’t just looking for a builder, they’re seeking a partner who understands the value of making a meaningful difference, and that’s exactly the service we provide,” she said. “I’m able to show up not just as an employee, but as someone who is passionate about community, mentorship and making a lasting impact.”

Projects in her portfolio include:

  • Mercy Center for Performance Medicine & Specialty Care
  • Target Corporation – 12 retail renovation and replacement projects
  • The Urban League of Metropolitan Saint Louis Senior Apartments and Community Center
  • SSM Health Warrenton Outpatient Center
  • Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Deer Creek Pump Station & Maintenance Yard Storage Building
  • BJC HealthCare – Multiple Projects at Barnes-Jewish Hospital

Ramos studied construction management at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in Edwardsville, Illinois and is a StormwaterONE Qualified Preparer of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans. She also has OSHA 10-Hour Training and Confined Space Training.
