Enhancing the players' and fans' experiences
In a joint venture with PARIC, KAI completed extensive athletic improvements on the campus of MICDS in St. Louis County.
The $23 million project includes new grandstand, track and athletic fields with synthetic turf for football, girls and boys soccer, and girls and boys lacrosse; the new Steward Family Aquatic Center with a competitive pool and diving tank, and a hospitality center featuring a donor wall. The existing track and fields will receive renovations such as new synthetic playing surfaces.
MICDS’ objectives for all of the project components is to offer the newest design and greatest flexibility to their student-athletes, as well as enhance their spectators’ and supporters’ experiences.
The site is in a tight setting surrounded by the school and residential neighborhoods. KAI and PARIC developed a plan to mitigate construction noise.
