Medical Campus Modernization
KAI was part of the design-build project team which included site improvements and mix of renovations or new construction on seven buildings at Moody Air Force Base. The projects involved a mix of renovation work and new construction totaling 52,000 SF. The work primarily involved correcting functional issues throughout the medical campus, with layout optimized to enhance departmental work flow.
The renovation ranged from light to heavy, with the objective to increase space efficiencies, enhance the patient experience and upgrade building infrastructure. Buildings are being made compliant with ADA and AT/FP, and designed for LEED Silver Certification.
