Ballpark Village Phase I
Cordish Companies
St. Louis, MO

Ballpark Village is a Cordish Companies development project designed by Design Collective from Baltimore. The first phase of the Village is located on the north side of Busch Stadium and consists of a 3-story, 120,000 SF building which showcases live entertainment, sports bars, beer gardens, dining establishments and an outside deck that has a view into the ballpark which is intended to enhance downtown St. Louis’ image and attract visitors year round.

Cordish Companies selected KAI to provide full mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services. KAI has been involved with the development of this complex since it was originally designed as a multiuse facility with an office complex and condominiums.

The mechanical and electrical systems were designed to handle multiple tenants and uses gas energy as the primary source of heating with two sources of 3000KVA power feeding the complex.

KAI evaluated several options for the mechanical and electrical distribution systems before finalizing the overall design.
