Incorporating Comfort in Travel
KAI was contracted to perform engineering design for the $3.4 million renovation of the Admiral’s Club at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. The Club occupies 16,000 SF of space and is on two levels – the upper level is the main lounge, bar and kitchen, occupying 12,000 SF, and the lower level has offices occupying the remaining 4,000 SF.
KA’s MEP/FP engineers and designers performed the initial study to replace the existing rooftop unit and install a new 20-ton unit. Part of the area was supplied from the existing air handler located on the lower level.
New lighting for the kitchen, lounge and bar area was provided including new data/communication, life safety systems and new restrooms.
