KAI announces the hiring of Lydie Mizele as Engineering Design Manager in the Engineering group at its Dallas-Fort Worth, TX office.
Mizele has more than 14 years of industry experience in all aspects of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and energy calculation design. Her extensive portfolio includes retail, hospitality, education, healthcare, government and renovation projects, including the $3 million renovation of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital HEB in Bedford, TX; construction of Tanger Outlets in Fort Worth, TX; and multiple CVS Pharmacy, 7-Eleven and Planet Fitness locations throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Prior to KAI, Mizele was an MEP Project Manager at The Dimension Group in Dallas, MEP Project Manager at GHC Engineers in Dallas and MEP Designer & Project Manager for Don Penn Consulting Engineer in Westlake, Texas.
A native of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mizele has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of North Texas – Denton and an Associate of Science in Architecture from Columbus State Community College in Ohio.
She and her husband Jerry have three children, and she enjoys volunteering in ministry to help children around the world. She enjoys reading the Bible and her favorite sport is golf.
