People’s Health Corporation is soliciting bids for the construction of a new building on their campus on Delmar Boulevard in St. Louis.

The Owner, People’s Health Corporation has engaged the Architect, KAI Design to issue documents electronically to interested and qualified General Contractors. Drawings will be available December 12th, 2024.

The proposed building is a new ground-up three-story steel framed office structure of roughly 18,000 square feet with an estimated construction cost between 5 and 10 million USD. The project effort includes all trades including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, communications, security and landscape.

A mandatory site walk will be done at the site at 10:00 AM on December 19, 2024 to allow the potential bidders the opportunity to view the site. General Contractor will be notified at the email address used for registration of the documents. Specialty Contractors are encouraged to attend but not required.

All questions about the project must be received in writing prior to COB January 16, 2025. Any additional information will be issued through addenda no later than COB January 23, 2025.

Sealed bids will be received at the offices of KAI Design at 2060 Craigshire Rd., St. Louis, MO 63146 no later than 2:00 PM CST on February 6, 2025. General Contractor professional qualifications must be submitted along with the sealed bid.

No bids submitted after that time and date will be accepted. No electronic submittal of bids will be accepted. Bids will be opened publicly and announced after 2:00 PM February 6, 2025 at KAI Design 2060 Craigshire Rd. St Louis, MO 63146. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

All bidders are notified that participation requirements for 25% MBE and 5% WBE firms are required and identified within the scope of the contract documents.

General Contractors must register to download documents and in order to allow notifications or addenda available to all. Specialty Contractors are not required to register. Notice to all bidders:

Due to seeking to include any changes necessary to meet the City of St. Louis building permit plan review comments, and comments from Planning and Zoning. People’s Health Corporation and KAI are delaying the bid date for the new Supportive Services Center project.

The new anticipated date for addenda information to be issued is January 30, 2025. The bid date will be pushed to February 13, 2025. Bids will still be accepted at KAI’s office.
