KAI Enterprises proudly announces the hiring of Mary Azad, P.E., LEED AP, as Senior Mechanical Engineer in its Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas office.
Azad comes to KAI with more than two decades of mechanical engineering and HVAC design experience on retrofits and new installation projects ranging from rooftop package units and split heat pump or VRF systems to large central chiller plants for commercial, industrial, telecom, data centers, aerospace, automotive, institutional, government, pharmaceutical, laboratory and clean room facilities.
At KAI, she will use her extensive experience and knowledge to engineer HVAC systems from concept to completion by performing load calculations on chilled/hot water/steam/refrigeration piping systems and humidification/dehumidification systems, making building pressurization calculations, and determining duct and pipe sizing/layout.
“Mary’s addition to the KAI Engineering team is a real coup and adds yet another senior industry veteran to our national MEP roster,” said KAI Managing Partner Brad Simmons, FAIA. “As a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Group Leader, Mary offers a wealth of experience in multiple geographies, across a wide range of markets and project types. Her portfolio of large, highly-complex, technical projects is impressive and adds even more horsepower to KAI’s growth trajectory. Mary is a collaborator and a great cultural fit with our DFW team.”
